👌معمولا شماره های تلفن در انگلیسی به صورت رشته ای از اعداد،تک تک و جداگانه پشت سر هم،همرا با مکث کوتاهی بین هر گروه از اعداد (در صورت وجود) خوانده می شود.در مورد خواندن صفر هم همانطور که در مبحث “نحوه گفتن عدد صفر در انگلیسی” بدان اشاره شد.عدد “صفر” همانند حرف “O” انگلیسی و به صورت “oh” تلفظ می گردد.همانگونه که در نمونه های زیر مشاهده6 می کنید:
• 76432036 = “seven six four three two oh three six“
• 0521 3044936 = “oh five two one ,three oh four four nine three six“
• 08081 570983 = “oh eight oh eight one , five seven oh nine eight three“
🔵نکته 1:در انگلیسی بریتانیایی،اگر در شماره تلفن یکی از ارقام دو یا سه بار پشت سر هم تکرار شود از واژه های “double” با تلفظ فارسی “دابِل” و به معنی “دو تا” و همچنین از واژه “treble” با تلفظ فارسی “تِرِبِل” و به معنی “سه تا” برای خلاصه کردن و سادگی کلام استفاده می کردد.لازم به ذکر است که این نحوه بیان شماره تلفن،در انگلیسی آمریکایی چندان رایج نمی باشد و ترجیح به گفتن ارقام به صورت تک تک و جداگانه می باشد:
• 515522 = “five one double five double two“
• 155500 = “one treble five double oh” / “one five double five double oh“
🔴نکته 2:در انگلیسی آمریکایی،افراد گاها کد منطقه یا ناحیه خود را قبل از اولین بخش از خود شماره تلفن بیان می کنند که بیانگر منطقه ایست که در آن زندگی می کنند:
• (555) 632-9821 = “five five five , six three two, nine eight two one“
• (477) 574-2079 = “four seven seven , five seven four , two oh seven nine“
